Making (personal) websites more accessible
I try my best to learn about how to keep this website accessible to people that use screen readers or with epilepsy; I don't hear a ton of conversations about accessibility on Neocities so here is some good info

A Mathematician's Lament by Paul Lockhart[PDF]
An essay on how the way we teach math in the current world is wrong and destroys our otherwise natural human love for mathematics AND how math ought to be taught as an art; The way he decribes these ideas and the examples he uses have stuck with me since I've read this and I love the view Lockhart brings to the conversation of our education systems.
Half Way Across by Dcraze(Ao3)
It is incredible to me how there are fanfictions made purely out of love that are so well written that it completely defies usual stereotypes for the quality that fanfiction is expected to be. Half Way Across is one of these masterpieces. This batjokes(BatmanxJoker) fanfiction is so well written that when I'm naturally analyzing Batman comicbooks and the characters, I many times find myself considering Half Way Across in my analysis of the characters. It is so well written it feels to the level(and, compared to many comics, higher) of official DC comics. Scenes in this fanfic have become tropes to me--so many moments in this story have stuck with me due to amazing execution and planning from Dcraze. And if you're in the batjokes fandom or have been, you Know this is THE Batjokes fanfiction. Amazing read; would always recommend.
SARUBI
Heavily talented, independent, new, indie, Argentinian artist everyone should check out: SARUBI! I found her from her incredibly professional-sounding covers and spanish translations of Will Wood(music artist)'s music. I became especially interested in her when I found out she played Every Single Instrument herself, was her own sound producer, and recently started making original songs under the stagename SARUBI. I am LOVING her original music and am excited to see her grow as an artist and keep making music. She's currently also available to listen on both Spotify and Apple Music (and I'm sure others), but new songs are on Youtube before anywhere else. You should give her a listen :)
